Professor Sowell ranks the Barack Obama presidency and focuses on the history of government's major economic interventions. "Classical left ideology," responds Sowell. "It will create disasters in the economy." Take it all together, Sowell believes, and this election will prove decisive. "There is such a thing as a point of no return," he says. If Obama wins the White House and Democrats expand their majorities in the House and Senate, they will intervene in the economy and redistribute wealth. Yet their economic policies "will pale by comparison to what they will do in permitting countries to acquire nuclear weapons and turn them over to terrorists. Once that happens, we're at the point of no return. The next generation will live under that threat as far out as the eye can see." "The unconstrained vision is really an elitist vision," Sowell explains. "This man [Obama] really does believe that he can change the world. And people like that are infinitely more dangerous than mere crooked politicians." Tell it to Patio Man. The folks back in Kansas already know. "Barack Obama," Sowell says, "has a lot more faith in verbal interactions than I would. What he is proposing under the guise of change is what was tried between the two world wars and failed disastrously." Accommodation, diplomatic overtures, talk. It failed seven decades ago. It would fail today. - Credits Hero In Peril by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) Artist: http://audionautix.com/ -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "EXPOSING: Roman Curia (Catholic Church) And Global Pedophila Networks" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxGgRSRDuRM -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

What happens when a president is no longer president? Do they get money? How about secret service protection? Are they even allowed to re-enter politics? Script 1. The former presidents act of 1958 gives all former presidents a pension which as of early 2017 totals 205,700 dollars a year. 2. Former presidents also get a sizable budget to start an office, pay employees, and even travel. This chart shows the amount each former president cost American taxpayers in the 2015 fiscal year. George W. Bush spent the most at a little over 1 million dollars. 3. The numbers in the previous chart do not include the cost of secret service protection that each former president and first lady receive until their death. 4. These figures anger some American taxpayers because most former presidents go on to make millions in book deals and speaking engagements. It is estimated that Bill Clinton has made over 100 million dollars in speeches and book deals since leaving office. 5. Digital Transition… 2017 marks the first time in history a former president will have to transfer the white house social media pages to a new president. For example, @POTUS will be transferred over to Trump on inauguration day, but all of Obama’s tweets will be archived on the handle @POTUS44. 6. When addressing former presidents many news sources just use the title president and their last name, however many political scientists argue this is incorrect and disrespectful to the current president. Those critics say you should either use Mr. and their last name or the honorable and their last name (Show visually). 7. Retirement. Former presidents use their newly found free time in very different ways. Jimmy Carter actually won a Nobel peace prize in 2002 for all of his post presidency humanitarian efforts, while George W. Bush took up painting. 8. Return to politics. Most presidents leave politics for good after serving their country but 27th president William Taft became the only president to become chief justice of the supreme court and 6th president John Quincy Adams served in Congress for 18 years after his presidency. 9. Since Reagan left office in the 1980s, it has become tradition to write the former president a letter and leave it in the oval office for them. What do you think Obama’s will say to Trump? We've searched around the net for some dumb Obama quotes and here are the top 11 dumbest quotes Obama has ever made. 1. "We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad." The intercontinental railroad. Like, you mean, between continents? Did they build that yet? - Cincinnati, OH, Sept. 22, 2011 2. "The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries." - Thanks for letting us know that. Tampa, Fla., Jan. 28, 2010 3. While attempting to make the case for government run healthcare in New Hampshire on Aug 11, 2009, Obama said this, "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." Sure, let's put the federal government in charge of 1/6th of our entire economy. 4. "The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system." Inefficiencies? Is Obama not just speaking the truth on this one? - He said this after a health care roundtable with physicians, nurses and health care providers in Washington, D.C., on July 20, 2009 5. "No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something." How does Obama get away with stuff like this? - making an off-hand joke on "The Tonight Show", March 19, 2009 6. "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." Obama said this defending his tax plan to Joe the Plumber, in Toledo, Ohio, on Oct. 12, 2008 And he said this BEFORE America elected him. Smart move Obama voters, Smart move. 7. "What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..." Muslim faith? Seriously, a slip of the tongue there? - Obama said that in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, 8. "On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong." Fallen heroes, in the audience? Good one Obama. 9. “If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.” Obama said this right after he got elected the first time, but despite that the economy was trashed when election number 2 came around, he still won. Go figure. 10. “It’s here that companies like Solyndra are leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.” This quote alone should have lost Obama the election, but despite Solyndra getting $535 million from Obama, they still went bankrupt. 11. "My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it." Have you ever heard the adage, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it?" If America is already the greatest, why did Barack want to fundamentally transform the United States of America? There are your 10 dumb Obama quotes.
