Looks like one of the defense's final witnesses wasn't ready to play nice with prosecutor David Walgren. During an intense cross examination Thursday, Dr. Robert Waldman accused Walgren of putting words in his mouth. The judge stepped in and told Dr. Waldman that that's how cross examinations usually work.Walgren asked the judge to strike several of Dr. Waldman's responses because he was being "unresponsive." When Walgren asked Dr. Waldman how many hours each week he did dialysis work, it took the doctor about a minute and a half of back and forth before he could explain. See for yourself how he deals with it and give us your opinion in the comments! We've all found ourselves in conversation and felt attacked like we started off talking about one thing and then the other person twisted our words and before we knew it, we lost our cool, lost respect in their eyes, and maybe even acted like a jerk. Now, I don't normally do the same person twice in a row but this interview between Cathy Newman and Jordan Peterson was just too interesting of an opportunity to discuss how you can handle someone who uses subtle conversational tricks to bully you into looking dumb. So in this video, you're gonna see firsthand some of the most common tricks that people might be using on you and you're also gonna learn how to reverse those so that you can walk out of a kind of aggressive situation having earned more respect than you had going in. So first off, to stop a conversational bully, you have to realize what's going on before it's too late. Now, typically, a person will reveal their aggressive attitude early on with their tone of voice and their word choice. Check out the rest that we will show in this video and how Jordan Peterson tackles them. 1:49 Jordan Peterson deals with so-you're-saying trap 2:39 Jordan Peterson deals with the "assuming the sale" 5:30 Jordan Peterson deals with the smash technique 7:08 But don't straw man the other person's ideas though 7:47 And visual imagery can also help 8:25 You can show them that they're already agreeing with you Connect With Us Further: Website: http://www.charismaoncommand.com Facebook: http://facebook.com/charismaoncommand Instagram: @CharismaOnCommand Or if you want to see our personal stuff (regular life + playing music): Instagram: @CharlieHoupert Instagram: @IamBenAltman

Germany is one of the world’s richest countries, but inequality is on the rise. The wealthy are pulling ahead, while the poor are falling behind. For the middle classes, work is no longer a means of advancement. Instead, they are struggling to maintain their position and status. Young people today have less disposable income than previous generations. This documentary explores the question of inequality in Germany, providing both background analysis and statistics. The filmmakers interview leading researchers and experts on the topic. And they accompany Christoph Gröner, one of Germany’s biggest real estate developers, as he goes about his work. "If you have great wealth, you can’t fritter it away through consumption. If you throw money out the window, it comes back in through the front door,” Gröner says. The real estate developer builds multi-family residential units in cities across Germany, sells condominium apartments, and is involved in planning projects that span entire districts. "Entrepreneurs are more powerful than politicians, because we’re more independent,” Gröner concludes. Leading researchers and experts on the topic of inequality also weigh in, including Nobel-prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, economist Thomas Piketty, and Brooke Harrington, who carried out extensive field research among investors from the ranks of the international financial elite. Branko Milanović, a former lead economist at the World Bank, says that globalization is playing a role in rising inequality. The losers of globalization are the lower-middle class of affluent countries like Germany. "These people are earning the same today as 20 years ago," Milanović notes. "Just like a century ago, humankind is standing at a crossroads. Will affluent countries allow rising equality to tear apart the fabric of society? Or will they resist this trend?” _______ DW Documentary gives you knowledge beyond the headlines. Watch high-class documentaries from German broadcasters and international production companies. All suspicionless checkpoints 100% illegal. We must refuse them. Read details about this stop here: http://callmegav.com/2014/03/congressional-candidate-refuses-checkpoint. You can also get some tips for filming police and officials on this post: http://callmegav.com/2014/05/tips-from-for-filming-law-enforcement/ _____ CHECKPOINT TIPS: - Relax, sometimes we have to stand up to stay free. Now is the time - You will be nervous. It takes courage to stand up to bully and it's not without any risk, but it's worth it. - Do not answer citizenship questions. It's all about making you comply. - If you wish to speak to them make eye contact and ask "Am I being detained - Am I free to go. You can banter if you want but you don't need to. - DO NOT pull over to secondary. When you are in the road THEY are under pressure. If you pull over they can just ignore you and make you wait. They win. - Talk to the camera. You can also talk to the camera and pretend they are not there. This throws them off and can also help you stay clear headed. - You have the right to remain silent. - Lock the doors, put it in park and wait. Keep the camera rolling. There is a lie being spread that treating disrespectful behavior with open disdain is to disrespect authority -- In truth rebelling against the rule of unjust law in order to oppose tyranny and immorality is by action to show utmost respect for law, order and justice. It is and always has been the epitome of human courage. Question and challenge government all the time -- Otherwise they will trample you every time. The idea that we must me patriotic of the State itself rather than the freedom we hold dear is a lie. Gavin Seim ____ DETAILS ON THIS STOP: We are being stopped at an in inland checkpoint near Alamogordo New Mexico. This is not a border crossing of ANY kind - http://twitter.com/gavinseim - http://seimstudios.com I also posted the video to FB.. http://on.fb.me/10LJweX and Vimeo... http://vimeo.com/63508451 in case it gets removed from here. I am traveling the US with my family on a three month road trip (http://bit.ly/Wu2Gq0). I value your freedom and mine and I've had enough of the tyranny - Maybe I'll run for Congress next year. I'm not joking, I am fed up. We must stand for freedom, else we WILL lose it. More about this stop on our blog as well as alternate video sources... http://bit.ly/122V8O5 ___ CHECKPOINT LAW: United States v. Martinez-Fuerte Government surfs love to cite this one - In reality the 4th amendment of the US Constitution is supposed to protect us from stops like this. Here is what the court said. "While the need to make routine checkpoint stops is great, the consequent intrusion on Fourth Amendment interests is quite limited. The stop does intrude to a limited extent on motorists' right to "free passage without interruption,"While the need to make routine checkpoint stops is great, the consequent intrusion on Fourth Amendment interests is quite limited. The stop does intrude to a limited extent on motorists' right to "free passage without interruption.." - United States v. Martinez-Fuerte, 428 US 543 - Supreme Court 1976 While the Supreme Court ignored the Constitution in regards to these checkpoints that does not mean we have to comply and certainly does not mean they can detain us without cause. In my option is was tant amount to treason as they admitted that this was a violation bit allowed it anyways. "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety" - Benjamin Franklin. Free nations don't have arbitrary check points.
